Definitely not! CrossFit works from a different concept; it is more of a blend of group training led by a personal trainer who can answer specific individualized questions about nutrition, safety, core strength development, etc. Your local gym cannot offer that in a group training session at all!
So what is involved in fitness – do you have a clear definition?
Tough question! Every ‘exercise’ regimen has its own definition, usually to fit its own standards. CrossFit believes that fitness is different for every person and involves more of the concept of ‘being all that you can be’ than fitting into a detailed fitness ‘niche.’
How does my fitness level change my workout from anyone else?
